Juicing My Way Back To Health

As part of my weigh loss journey, I realise as well that I need to focus on overall health as well as losing the Kg’s. I started juicing in February to enable myself to eat all the nutrients I need. Juicing or blending was the easiest way I could manage this. Some veges are hard to consume so I made it easy for myself. These juices are not only healthy but they are also filling which is important to avoid the unhealthy snacks. I lost 3 kgs thus far & it’s not all due to the juice, but it does help. This juice is a mixture of

  • Beetroot – boiled whole & cut for blending
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Naartjies peeled
  • Avocado
  • Green tea.

Blend everything together. I add cooled green tea to make into a drinkable juice. Cooled because hot tea might not be the best for your blender or juicer. Its really great tasting & healthy.
